To maximize the benefits, you should:

Relax: Be at home in a quiet space (ideally your bedroom) where you can lie down or sit comfortably.

Choose some relaxing music, ad free, lyric free if you wish. This to give you an idea: Spotify or YouTube

Simply Rest: You do not need to "help" the energy. Close your eyes and simply relax.

Expect Sensations: You may experience warmth, cold, tingling, see colours, or enter a deep state of relaxation, possibly falling asleep. Your experience is unique to what you need at that moment.

Aftercare: Remain still for about five minutes after the session ends. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. The Reiki energy has been known to continue its healing work for up to a week and a half.
